THE PEOPLE OF ZAMBIA
Zambia - 13 Days
This memorable journey begins with the grandeur of Victoria Falls paired with the broad smiles of villagers living a contemporary lifestyle in the nearby 700 year old settlement. Then, it's off on safari into the timeless African bush with its deep red earth, open plains and snaking rivers. Zambia boasts huge populations of wildlife, which can be viewed on foot, by boat or from a land rover. Your excellent accommodations include comfortable tents which allow you to savor the sights, sounds and smells of the true Africa! A highlight is a visit to a farming community and a fishing village. The local people are proud to share their culture and reveal the secrets of the bush. Hands-on activities include net fishing in dugout canoes, trekking into the forest to collect wild honey, and consulting with a local healer who will concoct herbal remedies for any ailment!
